Laser hair removal is a fast, safe, cost-effective, reliable, and permanent hair reduction procedure of getting rid of hair by exposing the hair follicle to laser light pulses.

Our Clarity Ⅱ laser hair removal machine uses a laser beam that is absorbed by the melanin in the hair follicle which coagulates the hair follicle and its surrounding area thereby destroying the hair and inhibiting further growth. In our experience, Clarity can get permanent hair reduction results for patients who’ve not had luck with other lasers. 

 While older lasers often require 5-7 treatments (or more), our laser hair removal patients are consistently satisfied with their results after as few as 3-4 treatments with Lutronic Clarity II.

You may see some hair reduction from your first treatment. However, hair grows in cycles, which requires several treatments to effectively remove unwanted hair growth. Most patients need at least five treatments, spaced 4 - 8 weeks apart, for optimal results.

Most patients experience a mild “snapping” on the skin as the laser is moved over the treatment area. Clarity II has a specialised skin-cooling system that provides a more comfortable treatment.

 We offer the latest in laser hair removal technology with the Clarity II with IntelliTrack technology for faster more consistent coverage in larger areas and temperature-sensing laser for real-time skin temperature feedback during treatment to ensure safety.

 At The Golden Eagle Clinic we treat all skin tones with Lutronic Clarity II which safely & effectively treat light and dark skin.

Clarity II it is a “dual wavelength” laser, including both a long-pulsed 755nm Alexandrite and 1064nm Nd:YAG, which is especially well-suited to darker skin. Our Laser technicians use the Fitzpatrick Classification scale to determine your skin tone at the consultation and select the most suitable settings for your laser hair removal treatment.

• The area to be treated should be shaved 24 hours prior to the treatment day to ensure a more comfortable and effective treatment.
• No makeup/lotion/deodorant on the day of your appointment (on treatment area).
• Stay out of direct sunlight for at least 5 days prior to your appointment & 5 days after.
• Do not use self-tanner or spray tan products for at least 2 weeks before your treatment to avoid potential injury.
• Avoid waxing/threading/tweezing in the area for at least 4 weeks. 
• Check your medications, you must inform the laser therapist with all the medications you taking.
• Physician or practitioner will provide you with all detailed instructions prior to your series of treatments 

• Do not use any active products for 72 hours .

• Do not exercise, use saunas, spas and chlorine pools or engage in any strenuous activity that may cause perspiration for at least 24 hours

• No makeup & lotion/moisturiser/deodorant for the first 24 hours.

• Do not scratch your skin if you are feeling itchy for the first 24 hours.

• Quick warm showers are recommended. Hot baths and showers are not advised for 24 hours after your treatment.

•No makeup & lotion/moisturiser/deodorant for the first 24 hours.

• Aloe vera Gel or Skinstitut Laser aid must be used to ease any skin discomfort for 3 days’ post-treatment.  

• Exfoliate with skinstitut glycolic scrub from 5 days’ post treatment .

• Prolonged sun exposure is to be avoided for at least 2 weeks before treatment and 2 weeks after treatment. Skinstitut sunscreen SPF 50 + must be worn everyday at all times to avoid sun damage and aging of skin.

• DO NOT wax or pluck the hair of the area while you are being treated.
